WAYNE WISEMAN OF SPRINGFIELD SOUTH
Although retired, Wayne is currently "Treasurer" of the OHSBCA and has had a continuous membership in the association since 1957. Wayne graduated from Waterloo High School and Rio Grande College.
He served coaching stints at Oak Hill High School and Northwestern High School before becoming head mentor at Springfield South High School in 1964 where he remained until his retirement in 1986. His overall record is 441 wins and 210 losses.
Highlights of his career include coach in the North-South Cage Classic in 1973, Coach of the Year in Ohio in 1984, undefeated in 1984 and Southwestern Coach of the Year 3 times. Wayne also served as district director in the association.
Wayne and his wife, Patricia, reside in Springfield, Ohio and have three sons, Wayne K., Mark, and Rick.
